Kanfar Artemia Cysts (Brine Shrimp Eggs) are primarily harvested from premium salt lakes in Central Asia and China. We meticulously select high-quality Artemia to ensure superior survival rates and optimal growth performance during early larval stages.
Our cysts undergo a rigorous production process—including overwintering, washing, and drying—and are tested under strict quality control guidelines before being graded by hatching rate. Utilizing world-leading processing technology, we consistently achieve a hatching rate exceeding 85%.
To ensure total customer satisfaction with every consignment, all products undergo a dual inspection process by our in-house laboratory and the China Commodity Inspection Bureau (CCIB) before dispatch.

HATCHING GUIDE
For best results, follow these recommended parameters:
• Salinity: 20–30 ppt (approx. 25g / 1 tablespoon of non-iodized salt per litre of water)
• Temperature: Optimal hatching at 28°C within 24 hours. Do not exceed 30°C. Lower temperatures will extend hatching time.
• Light: Minimum 2,000 lux maintained throughout the full 24-hour hatching period.
• Aeration: Constant aeration is required to provide sufficient oxygen for cyst metabolism and hatching.
• pH: Maintain at 8.0 or above. If pH drops below 7.5, add a small amount of sodium bicarbonate or a pH buffer to restore it.
• Stocking Density: Do not exceed 2.5g of cysts per litre of solution. Higher density reduces hatching percentage.
STORAGE CONDITIONS
For short term storage (up to 30 days)
Store in a cool, dry place at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep the container tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption. Once opened, use within a few days.
Long-Term Storage (up to 24 months)
Store under refrigerated conditions at less than 0°C to preserve maximum hatching viability. Before use, allow the cysts to gradually return to room temperature (approximately 1–2 hours) before beginning the hatching process.
